Title: Just A Game
Word Count: 376
Stuffage: I don't own Yuugioh.
Added Info: Yami no Malik x Yami no Bakura; implied Yami no Malik x Yami no Bakura x Otogi Ryuuji
Warnings: None.
A/N: If you can't tell my Yuugioh OTP is Yami no Malik x Yami no Bakura. There are others that come close, but that's the name one. I've recently started liking Diceshipping (Yami no Bakura x Ryuuji). As for Bondageshipping (Yami no Malik x Ryuuji) I'm not too fond of it atm. I blame that on clingyness that Yami no Malik should be with Yami no Bakura. With my luck, if I can let that weird possessiveness of me slide, I might like it. Maybe.

There isn't anything really special about him.
So he can see right through the act I play when I easily portray my landlord. That's besides the point. I know I'm a great actor, so that's not the problem. Nor does it matter that he seems to smirk at me when he knows that there's something that's agitating me.
I don't care that his emerald green eyes shine brilliantly at me when I'm losing my composure; as if he wants to see me throw a fit or prove that I really can switch from mood to mood way too easily. Too easily for even my tastes.
Nor do I care that he can do anything skillfully and manage to catch my attention by a simple flick of his hair or by the random toss of one of his dice that he carries around with him.
What's worse is when my lover, my partner, my comrade, is laughing at me. He notices the way I look at the other every now and then and rather than get jealous, he becomes amused. If it weren't for the fact that we both found him attractive and interesting, there would be a problem. Our jealousy would be rising among other things that do.
But, that's besides the point.
What was my point?
Oh, of course. That there's nothing special about him.
Heh.
I suppose I shouldn't lie to myself since I don't lie to anyone else. Trick or word my words carefully, yes, but not lie.
Fine. There is something special about him.
I'll admit that. I won't admit it to him, though.
Especially not while he's looking at me like that and reminding me about our similarities and how he finds Yami no Malik and I amusing. Entertaining.
And how he purrs out my name. Drawing it out, "Ba-ku-ra." Purring it out in a way that makes my eyes narrow to prevent any other reaction. Luckily, every time he does it, Yami no Malik either laughs or repeats it; both bring my attention to him rather than Otogi Ryuuji.
Which is better. Far better. I prefer Yami no Malik over him, but that doesn't mean he still doesn't get my attention.
And it's all a game.
Let the games begin.
