In the Chapel, purple candles for Advent have been lit as well as other white ones. Reaves and purple tapestries humbling decorate the room. A single pine tree, decorated only with white and purple flowers sits in the corner. A purple cloth covers the alter that Father Caffery has prepared for Communion. He takes up his bible and moves to the pulpit, opening to a hymn which he sings for the opening of Mass while waiting for the patients who are Catholic to take their seats in the pews.
