[EVENT] Mail Day!

Oct 03, 2009 09:50

Who: Cuba labayamesa, England prud_englaland, France andouillette, Iceland til_himnarikis, [North] Italy venividiarresi, [South] Italy cuori_di_ferro, Japan therisingsun, and Poland like_aphoenix.
What: The Sanctuary is a mostly isolated place, as you've all somewhat figured out, however, that doesn't mean it's impossible to get mail, but it just makes it hard. Well, the mailman has finally arrived and brought with him goodies for the above characters! I hope you're all excited to see what the mailman has brought for you!
Where: The nurses station on the first floor.
When: Mid-morning.
Notes: There's a MINGLE THREAD for mingling before your character's name gets called, if you so desire, but there needs to be very little interaction for this. Just comment under your character's thread and they'll be given a letter and/or package from their family. What your character does after that is completely up to them! Other characters can feel free to jump in to another character's thread after that character has received their letter and/or package.

Over the intercom, a pleasant female voice rang through the halls of the Sanctuary, asking that a certain group of patients meet at the nursing station on the first floor. Lisa's voice, of course, as she had been sorting through the bag of goodies left to her by a very friendly man. She knew that many of these patients were doubtful that their families really existed, but she hoped that these letters and gifts that had been sent across plains and oceans and skies were enough to lend credence to their words. Such a fascinating illness it was, but it had to be taking a toll on their families; many had come alone and some had admitted themselves with family members in tow.

She put on a smile and waited for the patients to congregate. Letting them have a little piece of home in their possession was good and would maybe make them more eager and open to treatment.
