Definitely awkward and I am with you on the Helen/Will shipper thing.
And though we don't know that the Nubbins killed the crew, the fact that she automatically assumed it had been the predator just shows how much she still has to learn. It isn't a bad thing. Helen has lived so much longer and has seen so many more things.
"Deceptively cute" - "Deceptively" something, but I don't know about "cute". They were cute enough, until you got a close up shot. And then they were just creepy. I think they could have made them more "deceptively cute" and then maybe I would have been with Ashley in thinking that they couldn't be dangerous.
What did you think of the predator's inability to defend himself against such a huge number of Nubbins? I am wondering if maybe the predators hunt in packs and since he is now alone he doesn't really know how to react - and therefore doesn't survive.
Thoughts on the sub-story in this episode and how it eventually works its way into the main story. I love this sub-story. Sophie has no idea what the Sanctuary is and her conversation with Will probably brings back memories of SFA for most of us. The first time I saw Sophie I could not figure out where else I had seen the actress. So, I had to look it up -- Supernatural.
