Things and more things, bah...
I'm beginning to have less and less time for livejournal, which is sad because I wish the reason was because I've been too busy having fun, but it's not. There just aren't enough fucking hours in the day when you need them (that, or each one is seemingly endless :P ). Well, I'm going to try and make more time for it, I miss updating semi-frequently and talking with my ljers... So, here goes:
The concert the Friday before last was pretty cool (for those that didn't know, Ska Is Dead Tour'05). Voodoo Glow Skulls weren't anything special, so whatever... they were more generic 90s punk than they were made out to be, save for their infusion of hispanic culture into the scene... the No Name Charlies were alright, liked the ska cover of "Blister in the Sun" by Violent Femmes, which had me singing along with every word even as I was being eaten alive in the mosh pit... Mu330 were the real band to see, though; man, do they have some great stage presence. Especially that one muscular guy with the torn tank top and chainsaw (!), fuckin' a, kids, that was a good time! (you had to be there). Oh, and the bouncer gave me a wristband that really only the 21+ crowd was supposed to get, so I had me a few Coronas, too. ^_^ Suffice it to say, twas a merry evening.
Work is going spectacularly, as my boss is pretty awesome. I got a cool "Specials" shirt for ten bucks, and all three Oi!/Skampilation cd's for six apiece! *is all happy* So that's good.
I'm also not attached anymore, which is nice, because something told me that it wasn't working anyway :P So yeah, I'm free again. ^_^
