Mar Talk
And now for a more recent mar talk
Awww wound up with a B in Japanese session I
Ah well, it's a language class. I struggle in those, so I'm quite happy with this. Hopefully I can do better in this next session.
Flores Sensee is a fair bit more intimidating than Kimura Sensee, but I gotta say that she does have that I'm-overwhelmingly-adorably-Asian thing going on. Yeah, Kimura Sensee is a white woman and Flores Sensee is actually Japanese. Which is pretty darn amusing to me. For no good reason really.
First week of class has gone by well enough. I'd say that one of the highlights was how I got to ask a few guys about whether or not their boyfriend was handsome. To which they were required to respond with "No they are not" 「ハンソムじゃないです。」
Uhmm this year's videos of from the world yoyo contest were pretty underwhelming. It's like half the top players lost their sense of making a legit performance. Not synchronized with their music at all. Except for Conde, who exuded the concept of "Swag" in a way that was previously thought impossible. Guy's totally got guts. It's a shame he placed so low though. Like 14th in 4A offstring or something like that.
Gotta practice for Bill Leibowitz Classic coming up in two weeks. T's all the way out in Orange county this year!
No stage fright this year! Hrmph! I will be fully prepared!
Also doing a video contest for the university libraries. The prize is an ipod touch :D
Not that I really need one, but it'd be grand to have one to give away.
Went to an animation film festival on Saturday. That was pretty fun and provided all sorts of viewpoints between narrativr based and non-narrative films.
Uhm.. Well, it was snoozer time like three hours ago, so I'm gonna try to sleep now.
