Went outside for a cig and two cats were sitting in the middle of the road, just staring at each other. One black, one white. I watched as they sat there for 10 minutes before slinking away into the darkness, one by one. Stray cat stand-off!
One of them looked at me, and their funky reflective eyes went red and stayed red. It would have been creepy if it wasn't kind of cool.
Damn, 'Stray Stand-off'. Story title? I can picture it now. 14 pages of nothing and then 6 pages of fucking.
