Not quite nerdrage, but definitely nerdannoyance.
Bleh, I'm not going to Otakon this year. There are a few things I'd like to see and the shopping is always fun, but without any "must see" guests, I just can't justify the $65 cost to gain entry to an already overpriced dealer's room. Otakon's lost touch with the core otaku fanbase and with the industry. (I could probably ramble on about various problems with anime cons and the anime industry in general for hours, but who cares about the opinion of some nobody with a Livejournal?) So I'll probably go to NYAF instead in the fall.
