Pancake Day
Today was pancake day as most of you know. Lol whats funny about it is how a few weeks back Chris,Matt,Kelly and I planned on missing lectures for the whole day to just chill and have pancakes! I know this sounds lame but we're lame like that hehe...Instead about a week ago we found out that we had a Biology mid-term on that day..boy were we pissed! How ironic? The day we plan to not go to lec's is the day we have to go! hehe i just found that so funny.
So yesterday the guys went shopping and brought all the ingredients needed for our pancake escapade and we planned for them to come over at 7:30 in the morning to make pancakes for breakfast...of course being the lazy fuckers we are that obviously didnt happen! We had a lecture at 9am but obviously all slept in.
When it was time for the exam we went, did the exam and came back to make pancakes..
We made 3 types of pancakes...
I made thick small american style blueberry AND chocolate chip pancakes...i know it probably doesnt sound so good but with strawberries and cream they were to die for!
Matt made British style pancakes which i admit were real good! hehe
Chris made european style pancakes otherwise known as crepes in france which pretty much were the same as Matt's. Ok i think Chris's pancakes/crepes were slightly thinner than Matt's but i still believe they made the same thing. Of course their batter's were VERY different. I mean Matt kinda kept it simple using the normal ingredients (Eggs,flour,milk etc..) whereas Chris as usual went extreme..adding everything from oil to cream..!
Kelly just sat and pretty much criticised our work but in the way only Kelly could do!
Overall it was a great day, we sang well mostly me and kelly sang while listening to music, i got batter in my hair, made quite a mess in the kitchen, threatened kelly with batter and finally sat down to eat our lovely pancakes..so in other words it was just a typical excellent day with my peeps!
