Damon: I know it’s been a while, but you couldn’t do magic as an anchor. So I’m curious, what momentary lapse in reason makes you think you can do it now?
Bonnie: You know, when all this started, you SUCKED at making pancakes, and now they’re somewhat edible.
[cut to the interview, when he talks about the scene]
Ian: Well, first of all, Bonn- ah, not Bonnie, Kat Graham and I love being together. We have the same acting coach, this genius woman, Ivana Chubbock, so all of our work we do together, and then do with her, then we do separately, so it’s… It’s a really cool way to work. Being in this grocery store, you know, little tiny town in Georgia where there’s no one gives you that sense of sort of like that apocalyptic, y’know… Because you see these movies and you see these… But when you’re there and you’re alone, and it’s just you and like three aisles of lonely kitty litter… [anchors laugh]… It’s weird. But it was a lot of fun. And it was cool to shoot that stuff.It’s good to have, like, the banter between Bonnie and Damon, is a lot of fun.This is, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this is a bit of a heavy show.
