After an entertaining evening playing with Scalextric - and added cats :), I was inspired to browse for Scalextric on t'internet.
I found this.
I don't know why Darth Maul's on the box - it should be Vader. But it's got glow-in-the-dark track and lighting on the ships ! And you get to race an X-wing around ! Admittedly you don't really get the full three dimensions of proper space combat, but then you didn't in the trench run - that was pretty much straight and level.
Scalextric and Star Wars is so cool. I just want this but Scalextric is pretty expensive these days. This costs about £70. I wonder if Tesco sell it online. I have a few Tesco vouchers in hand....
