Hmmmm...
Life has been mostly been oddly conforming to my wishes, whether I want it too or not. o_O

Had a fun on Saturday, went out on the bus to Stonehenge Aotearoa, we even managed to get in some Winter Solstice carolling (Glory to our Star, the Suuuun!) around the burning Oak log outside the RSA hall. ;D
Good shots of Will, Steph, Richard, Pamela & Tom on the tv3 news on Sunday night, apparently I was there too?? I think I got excited about seeing Pamela and failed to recognise myself.
Will & I got hauled aside after the ceremony for interview, but I was kind of doubting they'd quote us, given we kept discussing things like Neopaganism as a Postmodern religion...

Was kind of wanting a bit of a break, maybe a day or so off this week, and then work asked if I'd like 1.5 days off? Yes please.

Was tidying out garage for flatwarming Tues night, and found a pair of old rockclimbing shoes, probably from ex-tenants, in my size & some powder. Won't have to rent shoes for weekend rockclimbing now. Cheers!

I'm trying to decide what to do for work - study for a certification? What do I want to move into? Recruitment agent rang me yesterday, so I've asked them for any recommendations of available fields, given my CV. Another thing I don't have to think about.

And I have been meaning to spend more time with my nephew Jah, ummm, I think I might try arranging a weekly visit/babysit though, rather than the yesterday evening phonecall - sis isn't well, need to go pick up Jah and look after him for the night, this morning. That all worked out though.

Oh, and I'm just a little confused by my body.
Generally I've slept a lot, and needed 8.5-9 hours sleep to not feel tired or ill. After a week where I would have gotten 6-8 hours sleep, I had a following 5 days with no more than 4-5 hours sleep a night - and felt fine.
Maybe a little worn, but not tired. Huh.
The lots of sleep for years could have been an after-effect of glandular fever, in which case, could this be normal?
On the other hand, it's winter. Whatever happened to hibernation?
Ok, true, that might require a functional body clock, and mine, probably not-so-much.

So, plan for the day.
Do stuff (work), do stuff (town), do stuff (home).
