hair stylists
hi guys! i checked the memories for this one, but the thread is like 6 years old so i figured i could start a new one.
i want to get my hair cut, but i don't want to pay a fortune or come out looking like a grandma. i'm just looking for a pixie cut--maybe something slightly androgynous/hipster lesbian, but the main point is to get rid of my hair. i have thin, fine hair.
my price cap is $40--i hate paying that much because i've gotten some terrible $40 cuts in the past and i felt like i wasted my money, so i'd prefer to spend less if possible.
i haven't had my hair professionally cut in about 2.5 years. i am super nervous that i'm going to shell out a bunch of money and not get anything for it except an uneven cut.
i would ideally like to get my hair cut in the next week, so i'd appreciate recommendations for places that don't book like 3 months in advance. and if the salons are in/near clairemont, that is another plus, as i take the bus and it's a hassle to get around.
