Air quality in Sabre Springs??

Oct 23, 2007 15:36

how's the air quality in pq/sabre springs. i live just in sabre springs, but haven't been home since yesterday morning, and am concerned that the air quality is still horrible. i'm really sensitive to smoke and i'm trying to figure out if i should head home (with my cats) or continue to stay with friends further south.

thanks!

I don't know, except when I saw the people gathering to go back to RB on TV many were wearing masks.

I think the only place the air quality is any good is right at the beach I hear it is clearing up. Also if you can use your air conditioner and stay inside.

I am in Clairemont Mesa and even though it looks clear outside I am miserable. My allergies make this sooty air totally suck.

thank you. best case scenerio is probably to stay away from home for a bit longer. hope your allergies calm down and you feel better!

Yesterday my only relief came from a quick trip to the supermarket for cat food in case we had to evacuate. I may make a trip back to Ralph's this evening just for a few things and that brief break in the good cool air!

i live in sabre springs and have not left my home since the fires began...

we have been running th A/C which seems to help CONSIDERABLY but we also have a super good air filter in my condo.

I am using a wet cloth when I have to go outside, otherwise, I am staying indoors.

Good luck

We're in Mira Mesa, which is a bit further south, and it's pretty decent over here. There's still ash raining down, but it's breathable.

I'm smoke-sensitive too, but I've been mostly-OK since yesterday evening.
