Does anyone here know of good, non expensive childcare in the east country area?

i know, sounds like a joke right, cheap daycare.

but i really need it. im a single parent. i only need childcare for about a month and a half, then they go spend time with their dad in georgia.

so if anyone knows of anything, please let me know.

thanks.

Check your local YMCA. A lot of them do day camps during the summer with extended hours (I think 6 am to 6 pm).

I don't know of anything specific in East County, but the YMCA cares program offers free referrals to licensed daycares in the area. They are a good place to check with.

how old is your child? that will affect things alot. if she's school-age, a lot more doors open (cheaper doors too).

The Boys & Girls Club of East County takes children as young as 6 years old and are only $30 for the whole year. The YMCA in East County has childcare for 5 year olds, though it is more expensive. Also try contacting your local Elementary school to see what childcare they offer. some even have preschool programs that run throughout the summer. I'd also recommend YMCA Childcare Resource Services. Good luck!
