(no subject)
it's been a fair while since i've updated so let's see, since i've been home...
The day after I got home Mum and I were up at Bribie Island fishing in the morning and then went swimming on the surf side all afternoon. The waves were a bit bigger than the last time I was up there so it was extra fun. While I was away Mum bought me new swimmers so it was nice to be able to go swimming and be comfortable at the same time. Kind of weird though, the last 2 swimmers I got Mum bought them both without me being there and they always fit great. Later on that week I finally got around to buying my first body board, haven't had a chance to use it yet but hopefully I will in the next few weeks.
Trevor and Sherri moved out so I helped them out. Mum looked after Keggy while Trev, Sherri, Al, Anna, and I moved everything. It was a fairly warm day but we managed pretty good. Did it all in one trip which was good considering we just had the rented moving truck and Al's ute.
What else..I've got an MRI on the 19th for my arm so hopefully I'll get some answers after that cuz I'm about ready to chop off this damn arm. I haven't been feeling too great the last week or so, well I feel fine but I just can't seem to catch my breath at all and seeing as though I had pneumonia in 2003 thought it would be wise to see a doc. So this afternoon I went and he had a listen of my lungs and came to the conclusion that it's not an infection or anything but that my lungs are inflamed which isn't letting them expand fully. He didn't tell me a cause or anything just told me that it happens. So he gave me an inhaler and said I should feel better by the end of the week, and if not to make another appointment.
The doc also has finally received a summary of my file from my cardiologist in Wpg so he sent off a referal to a cardiologist here. All I can say is it's about time considering I should've seen one about 6 months ago. The doc didn't exactly like how "odd and somewhat loud" (yeah those are his terms) my murmur sounded and I'm not thrilled as to how much harder my heart has to work lately due to my lungs being a little wonky. On the plus side Mum and I can't seem to stop laughing at the fact that i never really get colds or flus but very strange things seem to find me. So we just keep having a chuckle over the fact that for no reason my lungs are inflamed, just weird is all. So I guess we'll just see how I feel over the weekend.
We've also been very busy painting around the house, computer room is tweety bird yellow, mum's painting her room powder pink, a wall in the living room is burgundy and the kitchen will be green. it's turning into a very colourful house. :)
That's all I can think of for now, not sure what Mum and I are doing for Easter weekend yet but I'm sure we'll think of something.
