Teachers on Crack
I'm so freaking annoyed. My teachers are full of crap! There are a few reasons for that. 1. They gave the two guys in our class D-'s because of their "attitudes." Specifically Nick though, because the other one didn't exactly have all his assignments in, but OMG. Nick had everything in except he one thing. They gave him 0/100 for a project that he did with me!!! I got 100/100 on it, and so did everyone else in our group but he got a zero! Thats so stupid! It doesn't even make sense! The teacher's reason for giving him a D- is that 33% of our grade is for "attitude." How can you judge someone on their attitude for one thing, and for another 33% is 1/3 of someones grade. How can you base that much of their grade on the kind of mood their in? I think thats ridiculous. Yea, Nick makes it blatantly obvious that he doesn't want to be in class because he's leaving next semester... so lets give him a D-? I think not. Shouldn't the fact that he does his work despite his negative feelings about it, give him more points? He could easily not do the work but he rises above and does it... that should be the point here. Instead they're marking him down because he doesn't want to be there. Does that make sense? Is he not aloud to have an opinion? And Nick may not want to be there, but he makes everyone in that class laugh, he's funny, he always has a smile on his face even when he's grumpy he is cracking jokes. I would say thats rising above, wouldn't you? It just pisses me off.
To top it off, this girl, Anuscha who sleeps in class, doesn't do her work, in the beginning had an attitude and still kind of does, didn't go out on placement, has an A. The same grade as I do. How the hell she got a good grade on work ethic and attitude in class I have no idea. Thats B.S. And then Sammie, a great student, does her work, tries hard, is almost always smiling, gets along with everyone dispite issues... doesn't get an A. It really makes me mad. They are so F'd up.
