It was on the way into town from our farm, so for school, groceries, mail, and anything else we had to drive by what I knew as the Missile Site (By the by, the term "missile site" was one of those things that I realized was a little strange as I got older. Just like when I realized I hadn't heard a sonic boom for a while when I was in college).
