I am disturbed at the depravity of our word. I to this day cannot grasp how things got so bad really, but then once I look at who we've become I'm not suprised. The society we live in is so dumbfounded about who Jesus is and why he came that I don't see hope for many of them, and that brings a great sadness to me. If they all could just understand the healing power of the sacrifice he made, then everyone could be given a new life; a second chance.
But as God says, forgive your brother 7 times 7 times 7, so does He who made us do for us. This "second chance" notion goes right out the window because He tells us to never stop giving someone a chance to change because He won't.
My God, bring my heart to peace today. uncloud my mind from the sin that I have bethed myself in for so many years. Give another chance today to show you how much I care. Let me always have you in thought and worship so that I may praise your Holy name with every breath I take.
Give this world another chance Father. Seek out those men and women who you've chosen to help more and more understand that you DO love them, just not in their sin. Bring this world out of the darkness it breeds and let there be rejoicing in heaven and on earth of the great and powerful name of your son Jesus Christ, whome through all things were made.
