the artistic director for new line likes to have some of each production's company members keep blogs during the process. apparently they do have quite a few audience members who like to read them?

at any rate, i started one. i think it's a pretty great idea, actually. i hope scott wasn't lying when he said people read it.
so...check it out if you want. not much about the design itself right now, as our first production meeting isn't until the 9th.
but you can probably tell all the same that i'm way fucking stoked for this production.

i worked electrics changeover for the rep between kiss me kate and tuesdays with morrie. i loved that. i think i came off as an idiot, though, because i didn't know the space/people/inventory/individual-jargon-of-the-people/and-so-on. i don't love that.
i've got money. i love that. i'm writing checks this week to my brother, car insurance, and sallie mae, ridding me al 75% of my money. i don't love that.
i've found 49 geocaches. i love that. it's hard to geocache during the winter. i don't love that.
i work on saturdays lately. i love that. i don't love that.
obama won in iowa. i love that. i don't love that. i love that. i like kucinich.
