Now that the heaviness of school has ended for the summer, I can finally relax and catch up on writing fics and doing graphics. Well...most of it is gonna be spent on writing fics. I'm more behind on those than anything. At the same time, I will also be working on a manga. Seems like I still have to get up early if I want to finish a certain short project in one day. Ah well...it still gives me something to do in the meantime. ^^ I just gotta figure out what my grades are for the rest of my classes, esepcially World History 2.
And now, for those who are curious, I will now show you the drawings I've done in Drawing I. :)
Time period: June 2-4
All of them happen to be practice drawings. Unfortunately the lines are barely visible in a couple of pics since I drew quite light. Sorry ^^;
Working with charcoal!
Time period: June 9-23
My favorite ones are the fourth and fifth, though both of them weren't necessarily finished. :3 My comment for the third one: Fear the chair's stubby wrath!
Time period: Finished June 25
Experimenting with cross-hatching.
I was very unsure with this one, especially on how to do it right. But from the critique of my teacher, he liked it just fine in spite of how systematic the marks were, except for the proportion of the container.
Interior with a view - the lesson.
Time period: July 2-9
That was a fun project. :) The class got to choose a setting from four locations, using doorways and windows as a frame. I drew this from the AUM Library Tower, 4th floor, top of Goodwyn Hall.
Final exam project #1a - Still Life.
Time period: July 13
My entertainment system via living room. I've tried again with cross-hatching, but I'm finally realizing that this style of drawing is not for me. If the picture seems to bright, I apologize again.
Final exam project #1b - Interior with a view.
Time period: July 14
My laundry room. This is my number one fave! ^_^ I wish I had an easel while doing this project. Again, I had to adjust the brightness of this picture. I fail at using PS.
Final exam project #2 - Landscape (from architectural perspective).
Time period: July 15-21
This is my first time using tinted paper, conte crayons, and conte pencils. I'd have to say this is my worst, regardless of how good my perspective was with the house. I drew the back of somebody's house, and was forced to take a photograph for myself due to the up and coming bad weather at that time. In Drawing 2, once I get a better feel on how to use them (plenty of time in the Fall!), I'll be able to kick ass with this style. ^^
And there you have it. :3 If you have any requests, I'll do whatever I can to fulfill them, but please understand my busy school schedule. x.x
