My Day In Rivets

I don't even know if it's okay to be THIS tired. Getting 5 and a half hours of sleep before waking up to drop off my college application (FINALLY!), staying up to work on my novel again, and then going back to bed to take a nap for a couple of hours. In between times (including interruptions), I have to help my boyfriend upload his art on both his deviantArt and MySpace accounts. His art is coming along better from what I see.

Speaking of art, I've downloaded demos of Manga Studio EX 3.0 and Poser 7. I really wanted to try them out and see if they are worth buying...or even worth the time. It's about time I get something new, unlike someone else I know who's too stubborn to try out the latest software versions. >_> This is highly unlike me to review software, but I must once I give them a test run. On the writing side, I'm glad that I got the inspiration to revise my novel on my own, even if it means doing an embarassing task of reading every chapter out loud. I thank Stephanie for everything, and I wish her luck on her internship. So in that case, I want to get it done before leaving Texas for school in case I DO get accepted.

For music, I've gotten more into the J-Indies groove. SectMateria, Dio, gossip, and Viored are definitely on the top of my favorites when it comes to good bands. Some major bands are still up there, like SID, 12012, alice nine., and others. But a few of them made me want to get over them quickly, yet their music stays with me. Dir en grey for one because I can actually smell their arrogance. Now to add to that list is The gazettE...I'll keep that reason quiet. I really don't want to be a part of that particular dramawar. Some might know exactly what I'm talking about. For other bands I couldn't get into, they have my sincerest apologies. Who knows? I might start getting into them again quickly. :)

I should start checking out more fanfics from friends, let alone read my recent book I bought back in July. Ah well...I really need to plan my schedule over.
