my New Year's Eve party will be 5pm - 9pm, celebrating midnight at 8pm
Here's what I've decided: I'm going to host a New Year's Eve party, small as it may be, at my place. (Housetrained dogs and children welcome!) We'll go from around 5pm to 9pm, and we're going to celebrate 'midnight' at 8pm. When you're done here, feel free to head on to other celebrations. (I'm hoping that, this way, I can be part of your plans even if you've got cooler parties to go to!)
Details: we're reasonably metro-accessible and there is street parking. Fireplace in effect, yo. Alcohol ok inside, no smoking inside. And, in case you're wondering, bakers wake up early, and go to bed early, and that's why the schedule.
