Absolutely no members of Metallica were present yesterday. Which is probably good news for Lars Ulrich's face, but makes for a pretty boring press event.
I will say that the addition of a second bass pedal was cool. I ended up using the left foot one almost exclusively since it didn't move around like the normal one.
As I left they handed me a bundle with a GH:M shirt, wrist bands and extra bass pedal for rocking out at home.
So, overall, not a total waste.
