FINALLY got a response
I got tired of waiting for Mr. Seibert to respond to my e-mail, so today I decided to send one to the general contact e-mail address of Frederator Studios and got a response in the same day! I wish I had done this earlier.
Unfortunately, it's bad news . . . apparently, there hasn't been much progress made on the film so far and they don't expect to be finished before 2011.
