DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!
Ah thats better :)

INSTRUCTIONS FOLLOWING YOUR OPERATION

SWELLING
Your face will swell up for two days after your operation. It will then take 5 days to return to normal.

BRUISING
This may appear on your face and neck. But do not worry, it soon goes away.

MOUTH OPENING
Mouth opening is restricted to about a finger's width between your front teeth for a week. It then slowly returns to normal.

STITCHES
Your stitches are made out of an absorbable material and will disapear on their own. This can take many weeks so we often remove them after a week. Please check.

PAIN

Dental operations can be painful. A powerful pain killer will be prescribed to ensure a comfortable convalescence.

ACTIVITY
Remember, you have had an operation, so take things easy. We advise time off work where necessary.

FOOD
Stick with soft foods until you can chew comfortably.

BLEEDING
You may bleed from your mouth even though you have been stitched. Do not be alarmed. If the ooze becomes uncomfortable place a cotton hankerchief DIRECTLY  over the operation site and bite firmly down for at least 20 minutes, whilst remaining quietly seated.

NUMBNESS
After operations your tongue or lip may be numb. This is only transient, but in some cases may last for an indefinite period.

Theres a bit more but I don't want to bore you.

This is what I have to look forward to just after my birthday. Don't you agree it sounds like fun? Ha! Yeah fucking right!!! :(

But yes....I am for some reason more comfortable with it now. I'm sure there is something I will learn from this experience. No point in living if you don't experience new and different and painful stuff.

Happy Face :)

Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to val. Maybe I'll send her a card. :)  Not easy being this nice to people lol :)
