[harsh coughing before the figure in jeans and a white-and-blue haori looks up and around with confusion]

--oh. Where did the city go?

I'll be fine... um. Do I know you?

Yes, the city. I just turned the corner...

Not that well, but yes.

Although...we haven't been in a city for weeks, unless you count Boston.

I don't remember you... but I suppose that's no surprise.

I was just there. No one just leaves Mugenjou, and besides, there's nowhere called 'Boston' anywhere nearby.

Mugenjou? I don't think we've been anywhere with that name. And Boston isn't near anywhere, really.

And...you know that. Unless I've mistaken you for someone else...you are Okita-san?

I'm Okita Souji, yes, but if what I'm being told by others is true, it's possible we don't know each other at all. The place I come from is a large, self-contained city.

Oh. That does sound rather different, I know you on an airship.
If I don't know you, I suppose I should introduce myself. My name's Katsushiro Okamoto.

we have planes, not airships, though I've never been in one. They fly over the city, sometimes.

Regardless of circumstances, it's nice to meet you, Okamato-san.

We have planes as well, but they're not much use for long-haul travel or cargo, so...

You too, Okita-san.
