so two months ago i ventured out to europe, again. ever since i returned from the first trip i knew that i wanted needed to go back. granted i stayed for a month but i visited so many cities and stayed in those placed for only a short time. if ever i went back, i wanted to stay in a place a little longer, which i did for part deux. i got to experience the other aspects of the cities that i missed out the last time. in part un it was: here's a monument, a museum, a famous place, etc., let's go, now on to the next city. it just felt rushed. but this time i made sure that we would spend a sufficient amount of time in each city, so i thought. well it was for me, considering i could only get two weeks off of work (and what a lovely 2 weeks), but we didn't realize how strenuous a journey it would be for ma mere. it just sucks how age would just creep up on you like that!
yeah we did the whole touristy thing, buy ya know, when in Rome be a freakin' tourist. :) adventure upon adventure, i just did not want to stop, nor leave the wondrous place they call Europe. the images they project on the tv, inter web, etc - they truly exist!! finally seeing them in person, you're just in awe. forget about vegas, le tour d'eiffel is ginormous!!! so kewl. and the mona lisa - they weren't so anal this time and i took all the pictures i wanted - which were 3. mdr. coliseum, sistine chapel, gondola rides, louvre, london west end, hall of mirrors - part deux was worth it. i just wish that i had enough resources to allow myself a longer and extra memorable adventure. preferably one that lasts a year or longer. and additional years for the other trips i plan to take for the other parts of the world. :) hey a girl can dream. overall we truly had a ball.
