italian job dude!!!
so today was eventful. had class, saw condom dresses, free tamales, office hours, class, saw mark wahlberg, ucla lost, and free pizookie! oh yeah, and today is my birthday.
yup, the big deuce- deuce. kinda surreal. its just overall weird that i'm in my twenties, and being a teenager was so long ago. i feel old. soon i'll graduate college and enter the real world. now that's scarier! ahhh!!!!
so, condom dresses, you say? yup its not a typo. actually they're pretty awesome. it was an extra credit event for my global health class cuz it promotes hiv/aids awareness and condom use is a major factor in preventing the transmission of hiv. they are actually pretty dresses and they seem wearable, but i wouldn't want to. and from far away they look like a typical evening-wear gown. but up-close you can tell its rubber, or 'johnnies.' its amazing how creative some people can be.
after than went with my classmate to an info meeting for a summer travel program to mexico. we just went cuz they had free tamales. heehee. but yeah, the program seems interesting and i kinda wanna go now. too bad i can't: i'm gonna be busy this summer, and i don't know a lick of spanish, except for "ole!!"
so yeah, my roomies took me out to dinner at bj's (which is across the street from diddy riese, manang), and fox theatre was having a movie premier for 'shooter,' mark wahlberg's new movie. (just looked up that movie on imdb. never heard about it until tonight). anyways, i saw mark , or mark e. mark, and that awesome. i was SO close to getting a pic with him, but he left to walk the carpet. my roomie did get a good pic of his though. surprisingly hes kinda short.
guess this is it for now. j'ai besoin de lire mon livre, et faire mes devoirs. bon nuit tout le monde.
