(no subject)
For the record, Ben is cool because he actually bothered me to write again before I actually did. So yeah, his dorkness level wavered a bit today...
OK, so Saturday I had to work, but it was a cool work day ebcause I wore my cape to work. My manager thought that it was really cool and she said that I could wear it since it was around Halloween. She really rules. She ate some of the chocolates that Jei Chan bought me before so she made up for it by buying like a dozen of them for us to share. I had come in earlier than planned to keep her company since la Chica traded shifts with her. It was kinda weird though. I got a thirty minute break for dinner and I met up with Kendra and we got into a debate about relgion which led to me getting back to the store 45 minutes after I left. I was saved because technically I had a thirty minute break and a ten minute break and it just looked like I took the two together and was five minutes late. And then ian and his girlfriend Jamie showed up. I really wanted to kill him for a bit because he wasn't planning on actually buying anything, just visiting me on the job. When he finally decided to get something, he started getting mad at me when I would dash off to greet or help a real customer. Ian is a really nice guy and a good friend but he just isn't the sharpest tool in the shed at times... It got a little mroe awkward when I offered to stay a little late to help Jane when a ton of people showed up. I called Jei Chan to tell him that I would be a little bit later than I had originaly planned when I find out that he already left for my house ten minutes before. Which, for the record, was very sweet and considerate, the timing was just bad. So I left at the schedualed time and just kinda collaped while cuddling with him. He stole my jammie pants, (The pink ones with the cows on it. Yes, I do own coloured clothing :p)
Yesterday I had to work again but it was with La Chica and that always means fun. It was jsut the day when all of the freaks came out to play. Like there was this one guy who seemed to be a little mentaly handicapped. I was wearing my cape again and he would point at me and say "Vampire!" and follow me around the store. There was another lady who came in with a list of like sixteen books all by one author. She wanted to order almsot all of them but then I found out that msot of them were out of print. Unfortunatly, she didn't seem to get that.
Crazy Lady: Do you have his book called "Healthy Heart?"
Me: No ma'am, that's out of print.
CL: OK, do you have "The Shocking Truth About Water?"
Me: No ma'am, that's out of print. There is however a book called "Water: the Shocking Truth."
CL: You said that was out of print.
Me: This is a different book, ma'am.
CL: Why is it like that?
Me: I don't know ma'am.
CL: Can you check in your computer about it?
Me: I don't think so, ma'am.
CL: Well, do you have "Healthy Heart?"
After work, I headed over to Jei Chan's house. Ben was there with his girlfriend too and somehow it got decided that it would be a good idea to go out looking for a porno for all of us to watch. (I blame Ben for all of this. His coolness points have expired by now me thinks.) So we all piled into my car in search of a porn shop. We found plenty of them, but the problem was that only one of them was open and there is no way in Hell that I'll go back into Front Page. I never knew that they closed earlier on Sundays. So after we figured that out, we just ended up at a Burger King and heading home. I left their house for mine around 9 and Jei Chan followed me for cuggle time and a tuck in. I love my boyfriend!
So let's see here... what else can I babble about? I went to Chinese tutoring today. A full 50 minutes of speaking with proper tonals. My tounge is very tired. It makes me very grateful that my last class of the day is just sitting and taking ntoes and not talking. I do think however that I am getting better that Chinese now.
