I've been crazy busy this week and havn't even had time to look at lj, but now i haves some down time so i figure it's a good time to update.
Valentine's day was hilarious, mostly because lola and elise rock and sent me chocolate vaginas. They are too funny to eat so I am just keeping them in the freezer until i have to throw them out. They have provided much amusement with the roommates. The Evergreen Players Secret Valentine was fun too and I got lots of delicious chocolate.
Speaking of Midsummer, we open tomarrow! The pace has been hectic this week (hence me not updating) but it's all come together. I've also decided that Barby, the costume designer, kicks ass. She is hilarious. There is a pretentious freshman who plays Hermia and was complaining about the fact that she had to wear shoes in the first scene because she hadn't had her pedicure yet. Barby took her to town in the way that only an educated theatre person can; you would all greatly approve. Even Charlie, the sometimes iritable director, has been in a great mood. Tonight is the final dress and the then the cast goes on en mass to some restaurant and invades for a couple of hours, always a good time. I am convinced its gonna be really good, provided we have a good audience.
ENGLISH CONQUERS ALL!!! The mass conversions to english majors/minors around here brings me happiness. Away mathematics, away!
I have decided that my civil liberties teacher is problably the future me. He's an Attorney, Adjunct Professor at Loyola, Theatre Board Member/Part-Time actor at another college, dating some very nice woman, and a generally nice guy with a great sense of humor. If he dropped the maryland accent, he'd be even closer. Frightening...
