(no subject)
I am sitting here eating a delicious Calimex Grilled Chicken Burritto and am motovated to update due to the wonderfully cheerful woman who i met behind the counter in order to obtain said burritto. At a place where most of the people are ususally bitchy - and who can blame them dealing with a virtually endless line of college kids who are impatient and hungry - she is incredibly happy all the time! She even apologizes for the wait, which isn't really that long. Way to go, Salsa Rico Lady!
Midsummer is going well. He has started to rehearse us like crazy which is sort of difficult because all of a sudden my professors have started assigning more than just reading.We've gotten to the "undefined amounts of rehearsal time" stage where the schedule just says "Run/Fix Show: 6:00 PM - ???" He is making us pointless rehearse for half hour blocks on Saturday, too, which pisses me off because i was suposed to gives tours for admissions.
Apparently I get sit on the Judical Board friday to hear some big-ass case that the admin. brought against students. Ohh how i love power :).
Apparently my RISE contract came in yesterday. I was super-happy that they gave me a decent raise and it turns out I may be able to work there are least part time after all. I can only work in the Senate for the first six weeks of the summer full time because once it goes out of session they don't need me anymore. Then, the plan is to take a course at URI in mornings or afternoons and work the other half of the day at RISE. This is of course with Nanacy's approval, but those of us who know her know exactly how much she wants to keep people and will do generally do anything to do it.
