Quite a bit to update about. Well, not so much in amount but substance.
The president of Loyola, a Jesuit named Fr. Ridley, dropped dead the other day, quite literrally. When he didn't come into work, his secretary went across campus to his house and found him dead with no apparnet cause other than a mild cold. I have to admit i didn't know him well, and the few times i met him he was kinda cold, but i still felt bad for the guy and went to the rememberance mass which was HUGE. There was like an army of Jesuits, who by the way I have decided i really like, in white robes. I always admired their community activism and efforts, but alway felt they were kind of cold and withdrawn, unlike the Christian Brothers. I also had a slight issue with their history as a group, but today they came off as really cool normal people who just happened to be priests. Yeah Jesuits!
Britany and Matt (the roommate) broke up for no apparnet reason today. I consoled Britany for a while since she was distraught because she was upset that there was no reason for the brake up - Matt just didn't want a relationship anymore.
We have a vistor comming for Massachusetts this weekend who somehow knows Chris Rossi.
My new philosophy teacher is an incredibly biased liberal who i think is letting his views creep into his treaching a bit too much. It's not that i don't agree with them, but I much prefer a professor that at least acts objective and lets you draw your own conclusion. For far, I am reading two books that mainly bash the Bush adminstration. All the points seem valid, but it's gotten to a point where I am just sick of repitition.
My room is soooo nice and clean right now! I don't want to touch anything for fear of disturbing it so i shall now very carefully walk to the bathroom...
