Shamelessly nicked from
equiddity - it was too good to miss out on...(plus, I feel this serves better as an introduction post)
A lexander - my best friend, even though there's lots of people who call him that :) (if you read this, Alex: I haven't talked to you much lately, because I've been thinking you've been so busy with THIMUN. Good luck in Haag!)
B odø/Glimt - førr evig. Even in Division 1 (at least I can go to more away games next season...*sniff*).
C ricket - THE Norwegian cricket follower. Not much more to say.
D ad - horribly cliche, I know, but I've got him to blame for my obsessive sports statistics interest. Growing up beside a father who has six years' worth of European and World Championship laptimes tends to shape you. Poor chap still doesn't understand how I got into cricket, tho...
E ddings - first book-love, I think. Funny books with cliche fantasy plots...mmm. Probably the reason I still stick to fantasy/SF when I pick books out of the shelves
F ossum - place for skiing and my three year footballing career (which consisted of breaking my hand once, scoring two goals in an 11-0 win, one good game as defensive midfielder, and general awfulness)
G ames - I'm incredibly competitive. I suppose it comes from the fascination for result tables - you tend to like your name featuring on them (and on top of them)
H valer - Not killing the things, but the islands. Yes, I get horribly bored there, and don't want to go there every weekend, but I'll miss it if I don't go there during the summer.
I nside - OH YES. 98 % of my life has been spent here.
J ava - and programming generally. Still fascinated by it, and I'll probably use this year of java-learning for something...not quite sure what yet...
K en - I love this word! :D Apart from the obvious sound (and the fact that it's part of one of the most brilliant poems I've ever come across), it also defines me - I know too much :D
L angrenn - all-right, so I cheated by spelling cross-country skiing in Norwegian. But it has to be in, simply because it's the one form of training that I really enjoy...at least when I'm out there. And I'm actually a fairly decent skier, too.
M cRae - Tom. Cheers to
edaindirith Alex for convincing me this bloke was worth a listen...and...yeah. His voice is fantastic, and the lyrics are great.
N ear-sighted - I've worn glasses all my life. I genuinely do not know what it's like to see properly without a weight on my ears and nose
O lsenbanden - I've watched these movies too many times to count - simple Norwegian humour
P rodigy - can't deny that, can I? Even though I do feel I've wasted it a bit...
Q uidditch - I developed a spreadsheet for calculating Quidditch scores. Not only that, I also used it for simulating about 12 years of international Quidditch - complete with rankings
R eading - Another thing I don't know what it's like being without.
S peed skating - I'm only watching this, but it still takes up large portions of my life. I actually haven't tried on long-track skates, despite my utter fascination for Kuppern, Moe, Schenk, Verkerk, Maier, Heiden, Postma, Ritsma, Søndrål, Ervik, Uytdehaage, Hedrick, Davis et al. Four days left till Hamar...
T ori Amos - behind McRae, my second great music love. I've now got 111 of her songs - don't usually rate Nemi's music taste, but I've got that comic to thank for listening to Tori :)
U ncertain - can't deny that, either. I really dunno where I belong in this strange world...
V ain - slightly. At least when it comes to the number under posts. :o
W ikipedia - a time-stealer of dimensions.
X - and the process of solving for it! Maths-brain...
Y earn - and dream. What I spend my time doing when I bother to think
Z -score - regardless of survey type my score would probably yield a very high Z-score :p
