(no subject)
Sarah and I went to JoAnn's to get linen for summer gowns for her - actually linen-blend, since it was on sale at about $5 a yard and I had a 20% of coupon. And we fell in love with the brilliant sage-like green as well. Kewl. I should have checked the bolt, because JoAnn's also shelves the $15/yard pure linen on the same rack, under the "Sale, Sale, dirt cheap" sign. Kinda shitty on their part, but still kinda stupid on mine... So what was planned at $40 for two dresses turned into about $85...
And then we decided that we were too puniked to go to meeting. I'm coming down with something (Co-workers aside, I've had no contact with swine, so I'm sure it's just a cold.) & Sarah was just "tired and shagged out following a prolonged squall"... So we blew off meeting, went home, drank hot tea and she slept on the sofa while I made little trees for Floor Wars this weekend...
