One more for today...:)

Another of my favorite pieces via literary and musical inspiration, deserving a post to itself...one of these days, I'm so doing a huge canvas piece of this with waaay more detail, but this captures the ferocity emotion of it just wonderfully for now. :)

Absolutely recommend playing the music while viewing the art in fullscreen...;)

THANKS!!! :)

I actually had to look up who that was...lol...I'm sooo bad when it comes to actually knowing about other people in the "art scene"...:P

Course I've always had fun with that since it sort of frees me up to not think in terms of "Oh, I want it to look like that person's stuff" and instead more "That would look neat" out of my head...that way, I make sure I don't stick myself into a set idea of what something's supposed to look like. Which is funny, since most art people claim that, but usually end up doing death-obsession abstract stuff that all ends up blending into the same trope...or at least that's been my own personal take on seeing big exhibitions. I know this has turned into a art rant, but it's sort of a thing with me that the cliche is if you're a young, fantasy/sci-fi artist, most of your stuff is automatically going to try and be edgy and dark and full of weird stuff that's supposed to scare normal people away so just the "art scene people" (or critics who want to think they're experts on "art" just because they critique it) will see and praise your brilliance. To which I say, to heck with that, I just want my stuff to look neat, and why the kwoi is being obsessed over non-existence considered art anyway? :P

Hope that made some level of sense...hee...:P

Oh man, yes, every time I see this stuff in museums that obviously required no skill or thought whatsoever and see how much it goes for and all the absurd platitudes heaped on it I go "Boy, I try WAAAY too hard." :P

I've had this *idea* for years to put my clothes and shoes I used doing murals on a canvas and give it some SERIOUS art name like Opus 18 versus Bugs Bunny or some absurdity like that and just watch them all fight over it like wild dogs. :P

And I'd be happy to try and see if I can help you out with something!!! :)
