woooo!!
Well…I finished a whole season as a production assistant. Whose proud? Anybody? Anybody? Well I am. It wasn’t all that fucking hard…I just thought the 8,000 cigarettes it had me smoking daily would have given me cancer by now. Well whatever, The point is the gravy train is docked until February…even then I dunno if I can afford to live like this for another season. A) It’s mutherfucking difficult to schedule any normal life activities when you work until 3:00 am and want to see your girlfriend who goes to sleep at 9:00 pm. B) MY health suffers like coal miner’s when the days line up in 3 or more consecutive shows. C) The money isn’t all that great, I only managed to save a few hundred dollars the last 7 months. So I’ll be back to being broke in like 3 weeks.
I’m up for an accounting job though, so we’ll see how that goes. I just hate to leave a job that I’m fucking great at and LOVE for one I can just do satisfactorily and am only at for the money…all well.
I’m glad I was able to hook my friends and family up this past year with all the free shit I could manage.
For the next few days, I’ll be fluffing my resume with accounting brik-a-brak, tryin g to find a good tattooist in town, and making my girlfriend happy in the season she is least likely to be so.
Here I go.
