You know you're an adult when...
I now have conformation that I am an adult. When teenagers, some preteens, give you lip and you tell them that they are acting like and idiot (not quite the same as actually saying that they are an idiot)and they backtalk and you have the same reaction that your parents had when you acted that way, you know that you are not a kid anymore. Because you find that kids annoy you. Other people's kids anyway. Also when said kid tries to insult you in return for a percieved insult by calling you fat and that particular insult, even when comming from a snot-nosed little bastard still cuts to the quick; just about puts the icing on the fed-up cake. My own little sis, whom I thought had a small sliver of sense, is acting like an idiot. Granted she needed to get out of her druggie bitch of a mother's house. Rather than doing the smart thing and going to our Dad's house or her grandmother's house where she would be safe and pretty much left to do her own thing and would have the certainty of finishing school and going to college, she sleeps in her car for a week and the goes to Louisianna with her so-called boyfriend because no one will let her stay at their house if he has to stay too. I agree, he can get his own damn place to stay. But no, she has to do what so many young girls do and follow some stupid boy around and will probably not finish school. I just hope that she doesn't get pregnant b/c then she would have to have a relationship with this loser for the rest of her life. Basically repeating dad's experience with her mother. I wish she will just wise up to reality, leave his sorry ass(he has no job and mooches off my sis btw)and come back home. Like I said before, kids annoy me.
