by ladycat777 and typed half of this into comments before I decided it was too personal (if related) a rant to spamm someone elses LJ with!
so deep cleansing breath....
just recently I've had a seriously freak occurance - a slight lull in the amount of crisis management dumped on me when I'm already busy - I mean I'm no saint but I work damn hard for far too little money and basically do a managers job without the perks.... I do admit, however, at my current workplace I am far from the only one in this situation.
so I took advantage of it to chill a few days while things were ticking over... if there was stuff to be done I did it - at least did all I could but sometimes things are fairly insolvable and compromise and temper soothing is the best you're gonna get...
and I strongly suspect a great wave of crapola is building - which I'm not sure I wanna get in the way of since while I haven't solved all the problems I can honestly say I sure as hell didn't CAUSE the situation... *sigh* but I will end up having to do headless chicken impressions for a while no doubt..
