Thesis Paintings and Spring Break
I've been working on a bunch of paintings for my junior thesis. It's been nothing but Japanese ghost stories and freaked out monsters for the past few months. Hopefully they will be well received and get into the end of year show. There's a fat full year scholarship for the best pieces so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Spring break was pretty awesome, I went down to Philly and Delaware to visit Jo and Jesse. We laughed, we saw 300, we ate pho, Jesse's apartment is the shit. I've been thinking about my plans after college, where I'm gonna live and what I'll be doing for a job. I really dug the creative atmosphere in Jesse's apartment in Delaware, every one of his roommates is an art major of some kind so it's like theres a constant flow of creative juices flowing throughout the place. They turned the dining area into studio space which is awesome, the whole place vibrated with ART.
I really like the idea of moving to an apartment near the city with a bunch of close friends. I know Jesse wants to do the same as does Jo, so that's 3 dudes closer to forming misfit house. If we could get the same kind of studio set up going it would be the best place to live and work.
