I'm baaaaack! (sorta)
After a LONG, computerless week, I'm back. With news about RL.
So I moved to my new apartment. My first apartment. Finally, I'm out of my parents' house. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against my parents, it's just way overdue for me to get a place of my own.
It's not cheap. At all. I spent more this month than I made in two months at my old job.
My old job. Still weird to say that. I have a very touching farewell. I didn't bring cake, cuz there were too many people, so I brought chocolates, and wrote 'have a great day' on each, gave them to everyone I worked with. And they got together and bought me a gift! It was so touching. And my boss got me an engraved pen. I was so totally speechless at that.
And I started my new job today. There were a few hitches - I was standing at the wrong bus stating on the way back - in pouring rain, no less, and by the time I figured it was the wrong station, I already missed not only my bus, but also the one after that - getting home wet and cold. And it is COLD!
My apartment has air conditioning, but it barely keeps the place warm. I turned it on 3 hours ago, and it's still freezing in here.
The weather is so freaking weird. It's the coldest year we've had in almost a decade. Almost no rain (I said ALMOST, today doesn't really count, even if the streets are practically rivers), and it's so COLD! Hasn't gotten above 9 degrees Celcius in a couple of weeks now. And the radio just reported a SNOW STORM up north. I don't remember a snow storm here since... I don't remember it snowing outside of Mt. Hermon at all! (Ok, there was some snow in Jerusalem a few years ago, but it melted as soon as it touched the ground, so it doesn't count).
Anyway, it's COLD, and I have a new apartment (and a computer! And internet!!
) and I'm really really tired, so I'm gonna go to bed soon.
I miss you guys, and I really miss writing. Hopefully, I'll get used to my new job soon and will be able to write again.
