Muse I got, a fic I got, bunnies I have more than I can handle, but inspiration? Not so much.
And then they go and air an ep like this, and... Damn you bunnies!!
So the first one is about Adam.
What if John told the boys about Adam when they were young? What if they visited Adam a dozen or so times a year and the boys actually kept in touch?
I think the real Adam (as opposed to Ghoul!Adam) would have loved Dean, and that Dean would have loved him. They have some things in common and that could be great.
Also, there'd be Adam giving Sam teh puppy eyes, and Sam being the big brother.
Ooh! Ooh! Sam being the responsible (aka spoilsport) and Dean and Adam giving him hell for it. Man, the prank wars alone would be made of awesome! And then the tired reactions from Kate and John... Hee!
Any chance someone else would write it? *looks around*

What if they brought John back instead of Adam?
I think it'd be kinda interesting, since the only character development Dean's had since season 2 is in the way he sees John.
John would probably try to boss him around, expecting him to fall back and do whatever ordered. Kinda 'they brought me back, so I'm in charge' thing. And then Dean would stand up to him.
And possibly bring up all of the f--kery they found out about since John died - like the secret storage, or hey, ADAM and all that other stuff.
I'd love to see the interaction between them. If John already knew about Dean's deal to save Sam, about him going to Hell, about breaking the first seal, about Sam drinking demon blood and releasing Lucifer...
Ooh, about the boys visiting them in the past...
