What was that?
The beginning was pretty cool. Getting them into the crazy house was something I wanted to see, and I didn't expect them both to get locked up. Dean's little smirk was pure gold...
And telling the truth to get busted... Yeah, I kinda wanted Show to go there. But not like this.
It reminded me a lot of Folsom Prison Blues and Something Wicked. Only lamer.
Don't get me wrong, I was entertained by that. I mean, 'crazy works', and 'dude, you can't hit that' and the clown paintings... It was good.
I was hoping the shrink talking to Dean was real, that something would actually happen there, instead of just his subconscious. And him not sleeping and drinking again... They could have totally do something with that. Or I'm too much of a Deangirl.
The stuff about John - totally should not have happened. It fell flat for me.
But seriously? That whole effect they used - from the moment they found out it was the nurse until she died - man, it had LAME written all over it in bright neon letters with sparkles and glitter.
I liked Sam trying to deal. And the puppy eyes apparently work even when you try to kill a guy. Good to know. But at least his character's growing. Dean's.... Just not.
This episode had the potential to be great. Instead it was just... meh.
Oh, and another thing. I really hoped they'd go into that whole 'Dean, back off!" bark from Sam. It's not the first time, and yeah, Dean's back to being bossy, but seriously, can you blame him? Look what happens when he's not in control - the world ends. Literally. It was a point they didn't touch, and I kinda hoped they would.
