Caught up in the crossfire between heaven and hell

Or summer holidays and university! Not long now, 3 weeks! And I rung Student Finance and they have my grant application so it shouldn't be too long after I join I get it. This means no borrowing hellz yeah *dances*.

This week has been alright! Working for most of it which has been fairly enjoyable as Rose, the manager, was in a stress about stock take so kept herself in the office for most of the days, or today not in at all! This as a result means we can have some fun on the shop floor and actually speak to each other! Today was taking the piss out of each other which was very amusing except my poor assistant manager Ivan, thought when we (there was 3 of excluding him) were saying he is scaring the customers away as they disappear when he's on the shop floor, seriously :3 he's so lovely and doesn't complain when Geniene told him to fold the throws as she hates that job. Bless him.

What else has been happening this week? My downstairs now has a new tv yaay! 37" LCD Samsung which we installed yesterday and looks glorious!

Went to Bethbeth's after buying the tv on Monday to help her cook pasta bake which was incredibly amusing. Mainly because it took her so long to cut the onion and garlic into small pieces (OCD) so had a nice chat to Debbie and a giggle whilst she was doing the cutting. I say I helped...I washed a pepper and observed taking note of what to do, so it can be something else I can cook whilst at uni :D

On Wednesday, I went to see Scott Pilgrim vs The World with Bethbeth, Bethhead and Lucy which was highly enjoyable. Michael Cera is adoreable even when he's trying to be bold and action-y. I loved the game references like when the ex boyfriends were defeated Scott got coins 'yay coins' and the bass battle as one of the challenges, inspired by the Guitar Hero esque battles. Genius!
Afterwards we went back to Beth's to watch Bright Star, it was set and filmed so beautifully. Ben looked lovely in his attire and it was just really sweet! It wasn't a film I would be able to watch too many times as there wasn't overly much plot but they couldn't do overly much to it due to it being about Keats life!
