i was looking out the window of charlie's room at the sky getting darker, the branches of the trees just silhoueted, and i began to understand why cats sit looking out windows all the time. it makes me think of this one time in india when a monkey just sat outside our balcony staring off into the mountains for a good half hour. why didn't i do that?
