Feeling Better - Everyone Else Sick
Well the subject line says it all really. After I posted my encouraging little comment on Monday I took DD to the poark in the afternoon sunshine to find her listless and shivery. By the time we got home, husband in tow, he was weak and shivery too. Soaring temperatures all round - Wacko! DD has had two AWFUL nights in a row and thus so have we. Last night was a particular peach with her waking up for a drink every hour or LESS - OW my aching head! By 7 am., if I could have handed in my parenting union card in exchange for some more sleep I bloody would have. Was having a short nap this morning when I got a phonecall from my course boss to say that another Old English tutor is out sick so there is major rallying round to be done to get cover in place for all her groups. I am not really better yet but will have to be classed as recovered for the purposes of real life. Grump and Futtocks!
