Is there no hope?
I have just been watching Sky TV's top 50 celebrity animals. Well, that is about as good as it gets these days on weekend telly and about all my snot coated brain can cope with at the moment. Somewhere in the top 20 was 'Pingu' which for those of you who don't know is a cute claymation penguin with a Tardis igloo house and an extended family and social network but no actual language - so it is easily marketed all over the world. Now I will admit that there are many aspects of Pingu's setting that raise questions in the parental mind and one of those might be 'why do they have a fridge in the igloo?' However what the would be smartass commentator who pointed this out on the programme said was "why do they need a fridge? They're at the North Pole for Gods sakes!" Head/desk ... Whump!
