busy as bejaysus!
Movers coming Wednesday.
Both houses now total tips - although new house is progressing we still have heaps to do. Swabbing and scrubbing the place like deckhands is reducing the ghastly, ubiquitous cement and plaster dust from the builders. We have rationalized the garage somewhat and the freezer is plugged in - yay!
Very little time though and much to do.
Was afflicted by vertiginous lurgy on Friday and was so nauseated that I could not sit upright. moving looked like a pipe dream. But mercifully I was pretty much recovered by yesterday and we were able to get a whole load done (in spite of Mr Wol having his turn with the lurgy - although slightly less debilitatingly) but I have a feeling we are going to regret every single second I spent lying flat and not packing come Wednesday.
Oh and MAN! we have a lot of stuff! We have given away literally sacks of stuff between charity appeals, flood relief for the locals and DD's school Winter Fair and there are another 3 shopping bags full waiting ot go out tomorrow and a box of work books to be fed to the English Department vultures.
Do not expect to hear from me much over the next few days. We have not been able to test the interwebs at the new place so there may be a period of silence because if it is not working chances are it will stay that way for the festive season. Grrr! So in case I do not get another chance
