What? Where? Who?
So it has been a week since I posted. Crap! I am up to my oxters in Xmas crap, have restarted my flagging Old English skills, and have been gearing up for the big annual fundraising shindig at DD's school - the Winter Fair. That was today and was fun if insanely cold outside. You'd think it was December! They finally gave up and moved the thing indoors and so were jammed into the school building like sardines. We only lost Rowan once but then had to find eachother. Mum and Dad came as well and brought goodies. We did well by the affair, supplying 20 boxes of home-made marzipan sweets, 4 plates of mince pies, 8 jars of shortbread, 40 tree ornaments, 6 centrepieces and 2 insane tree-like decoration things my Mum made in a fit of artistry. We bought some of them back. In the light of what we led to expect I found the professionalism of the crafts a bit lacking and there wasn't much there you could buy as a gift for anyone outside the family but there was much good stuff to eat! and we did!
Seems like we are heading to Dublin for Xmas and then New Year in the country with Mum and Dad. It's a lot to fit into a two week break but Mum and Dad have been sadly neglected this term since we have all been horridly, snortingly ill and Dublin is a must too for other reasons, esp. as it has been even longer since we were there.
In other news. It has been 18 months + a day or two since my last period. I didn't miss them. ouch! Ow! Ouch!! OW!
