Life just never gets less complicated!
I have been sick with a zombie-fying cold and unable to muster up the energy to even blog about the great weekend we had. Still on the topic that bad news is easier to write about than good, here's an update. Mr Wol, my beloved and sweet husband, was struck down by an agony in his gut that is almost certainly more kidney stones. He had some three years ago and remembered the feeling well but this is even worse than last time. At 1.45am he took a taxi to the emergency room. Since then they have been trying every painkiller in the book and he is still in terrible pain, so much so he keeps vomiting. They can't admit him as they haven't a bed so he is on a trolley in A&E. I couldn't go with him as the only neighbours we would trust in an emergency like this are currently encumbered with a brand new baby and very exhausted with it. Damn fuck and blast biology!!!! Intelligent design my ass!
